Everyone’s favorite up-tight principal from Eastbound & Down is back with a brand new show on Comedy Central. The first episode of Andy Daly in Review premieres March 6–and from this first clip alone (where Daly tackles racism), we’re pretty damn excited about it. Daly plays Forrest MacNeil, a TV critic who reviews life experiences like stealing, drug addiction, and sleeping with a celebrity. The supporting cast includes Jessica St. Clair as his wife, Fred Willard as his father-in-law, and James Urbaniak as his producer, with Andy Richter, Ashley Tisdale, Jason Mantzoukas, Rich Fulcher, Emo Phillips, Andy Blitz and Maria Thayer set to guest star.
Daly’s also kept busy with other projects since the demise of Eastbound & Down. He’s made appearances on Modern Family (playing yet another principal) and is a regular on Comedy Bang! Bang! Some of his fans would still insist that his work on the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project is the biggest thing that Daly has happening. Make sure to check it out for all the laughs. We’re excited to see Comedy Central taking a chance with letting one of the funniest comics working right now take the lead.
