Atmosphere drops new video for the song, ‘Bob Seger’

Minneapolis hip hop legends Atmosphere kick off the “Welcome to Minnesota Tour” today–and there’s a dope new video (from director Andrew Melby) for their track “Bob Seger.” Contrary to what the title would lead you to believe, the track isn’t a tribute to the classic-rock God. As frontman Slug explains, “It’s about how the legend of Paul Bunyan began. Babe wasn’t really a blue ox, it was a blue axe, but the Northern accent made it sound like ‘ox.'”

That “Welcome To Minnesota Tour” also features emcee and poet Toki Wright and DJ/producer Big Cats, No Bird Sing, deM atlaS, and Jimmy2times. Find dates after the jump, and keep a look out for the summer release of Toki and Big Cats’ debut joint full length “Pangea”…
