Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts

Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York has the most amazing college performing arts centers-or so we’ve been assured by BestCollegeReviews– who narrowed down a list to the top 25 theaters and performing arts houses from across the country. And we sure wouldn’t mind seeing a few theatrical spectacles at Bard College. They’ve built a stunning steel building that cost $62 million. That’s like what you’d spend on a football stadium, right?

The futuristic facade hosts some serious audio work, too. The building even was named Best Small Concert Hall by the folks at New York magazine–and we can tell you that those folks hate to admit whenever something outside of Manhattan is the best of anything.

Anyway, check to see if you’re walking around campus and ignoring some fine theatrical facilities. Or maybe you’re taking really good advantage of them, and we shouldn’t be making any assumptions about college kids today…
