The first gold medals are being given out at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi–and we’re pretty thrilled with the Canadian success story of Justine Dufour-Lapointe. That’s because Justine comes as a package deal with sisters Chloe Dufour-Lapointe and Maxime Dufour-Lapointe. These siblings collectively make up a triple-threat to our own self-discipline whenever they show up as part of the Olympics coverage.
Today’s win was a great day for the entire Dufour-Lapointe, since Justine came in first on the women’s moguls competition right ahead of her older sister Chloe–who won silver with a score of 21.66 (72.20%). That still put her ahead of 2010 Olympic champion Hannah Kearney. Very oldest sister Maxime, meanwhile, was eliminated in Round 2.
Maxime will probably be given a hard time about that later. The striking siblings still have a great reputation for being each other’s biggest fans, so we’re still pretty sure that everybody’s still very happy in the Dufour-Lapointe camp tonight. And we’re thrilled because this is a very promising start for the Olympics’ sexiest stars–although Canada certainly has plenty of hot Olympic contenders.
Still, we’re going to take some time to ogle these winning sisters. We’re happy to say that Justine, Chloe, and Maxime Dho all rate a gold medal from us. That’s why the Olympics International Committee doesn’t let us judge these things…
