Over Super Bowl Weekend, COED Media Group and PeepsOut (the live-streaming mobile tool made to help you plan outings in real time) hosted a 32-team beer pong tournament at Brother Jimmy’s on Lexington Avenue. COED was joined by NY Giants DB Terrell Thomas, Miss COED of the Year Lauren Hanley, Miss COED Hope Stone, BustedCoverage.com, CollegeCandy.com, FOXSports.com, Maxim.com, HuffingtonPost.com, and many more friends/fans who were interested in shooting a little Saturday afternoon pong.
COED was well represented by our very own Editor Wyatt (aka the guy writing this post) who managed to make it to the Finals–only to lose to the deadly accurate team of David Jalkut (Washington Post) and Tom Costello (Microsoft). Spectators and witnesses of the final showdown claim the last game was “kind of close” but that they “lost interest once they heard Lauren Hanley was at the party.” Admittedly, it’s tough to compete to with a champion like her.
All the same, congratulations to David and Tom for winning.
In addition to giving us an excuse to host a huge beer pong tournament, our party gave CMG and PeepsOut a great opportunity to kick back with our friends and have a Super Bowl party of our own. We had no idea the games would be more exciting than the big one held in MetLife Stadium.
If you’re ever looking to see what’s going on at any Brother Jimmy’s locations or any other bars in New York City, download the PeepsOut app to get a live look at what the scene is like. PeepsOut is your look into what’s happening in NYC bars right now.
Of course, if you’re looking to see what happened last weekend we’ve got a recap of all the photos below.
