Update: The opening ceremony is actually on Friday night, not Thursday like we reported. But Thursday does mark that actual beginning of the Olympics so we weren’t 100% wrong.
After last night’s Super Bowl, you’re probably not in such a good place to start the week unless you’re from Seattle–in which case you have already have good reason to celebrate.
Most of us aren’t, though, and therefore don’t have a legitimate excuse to play hookie or miss class today. Instead we’re forced to sit in our own fried food and beer.
But there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Monday night’s starting out with some Sports Illustrated Swimsuit television and then you’re all set for the rest of the week with stuff like the Olympics, a science debate (gasp!) that you won’t want to miss, and the first of Lauren Hanley’s Miss COED of the Year photos we shot with KirillWasHere. Dust yourselves off and get to it, we’ve got a great week ahead of us.
