Happy Birthday to Bob Uecker who turns 79 today!

Bob Uecker is a former professional baseball player and current play-by-play announcer for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was also a frequent guest on Carson, a WWE announcer, a Miller Lite spokesman, a TV sitcom star and is possibly the funniest person alive. Don’t take our word for it. Comedians Norm MacDonald and Artie Lange agree. So do Andre the Giant and Hank Aaron. Check out these clips that will make you want to hang out with one of the coolest guys of all time. Warning, some clips have NSFW language.

Norm MacDonald told David Letterman this hilarious story about Uecker and Creedence Clearwater Revival singer John Fogerty. We’re guessing John was upset that he didn’t get to go up to the booth just so he could spend some more time with Uecker.

On Howard Stern, Norm and Artie explain why it’s so fun to be in the booth with Uecker. Even if you don’t like baseball, you can still check out all the hot “trollops.”

This Miller Lite commercial has John Madden, Rodney Dangerfield, Dick Butkus, Bob Uecker and many other celebrities who would be awesome to get drunk with. Still, we’re guessing Uecker is the most fun to hang out with.

Uecker’s speech during his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame shows the self-deprecation that helped him transition a from mediocre baseball player into a sports legend.

Uecker’s professional stats aren’t that impressive, but that didn’t stop him from giving advice to players like Hank Aaron. We’re guessing baseball teams kept him around just because he was fun to get drunk with.
