The 2014 Coachella lineup was announced yesterday, just like we told you it would be. Hip Hop duo Outkast will be headlining the event along with everybody’s favorite French Canadian indie-rock band Arcade Fire. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will once again take place over two weekends (April 11-13 | April 18-20) and will also feature big names like Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Motörhead, and much more. Of course, you can expect to see all the same hippie hotties that come with the festival.
Those of you who appreciate computer music will be pleased to know that acts like Disclosure, Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris, Skrillex (whose name we haven’t actually heard in awhile now), Duck Sauce, The Knife, and The Glitch Mob.
And for the rap aficionados, names like Nas, A$AP Ferg, Chance the Rapper, Pharrell, and Kid Cudi should spark some interest. And then of course you’ve got Outkast. While it’s not the strongest rap lineup we’ve seen from the concert, there’s a lot to get excited for.
Other confirmed acts include the Replacements, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bryan Ferry, MGMT, Haim, Girl Talk, the Afghan Whigs, Chromeo, Sleigh Bells, Neko Case, Solange, Chvrches, Ty Segall, Darkside, Broken Bells, Waxahatchee, Foxygen, Blood Orange, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, A$AP Ferg, Mogwai, Dum Dum Girls, Washed Out, Holy Ghost!, Superchunk, Classixx, the Dismemberment Plan, Warpaint, Factory Floor, Shlohmo, Wye Oak, the Internet, Empire of the Sun, Jagwar Ma, Flume, Future Islands, and many others.
