Did the pilgrims and the Native Americans actually sit down to a huge gluttonous feast on the first-ever Thanksgiving in 1621? We don’t know for sure, but the safe bet is… no. Sorry to ruin it for y’all.

But that small fact doesn’t make turkey any less delicious, football games any less fun, or drinks any less delicious does it? Speaking of football and Native Americans, one of the biggest story lines this season hasn’t been about on-the-field activity at all, but whether or not the name “Washington Redskins” is inappropriate. We don’t have an opinion on it one way or another, but the fact of the matter remains that Native American lore (butchered as it may be) is still very much present in popular culture.

Take for example, modeling and photography. I come across photos of sexy models wearing Native American headdresses all the time. Even the photo you see above is actually of Jessica Colorado aka Miss COED November 2013. Do I think that she’s trying to be controversial? Absolutely not. Do I think that she’s looking incredibly good? Yes.

Women just look good in Native American garb. That’s a fact. See for yourself below.
