Stephen Curry (one of COED’s favorite NBA ballers) teamed up with The Wounded Warriors Project and Under Armor to create a new version of the UA Anatomix Spawn Low that benefits America’s veterans who’ve been injured in the line of duty.
The All-Star PG made the announcement on his personal Twitter page (@StephenCurry30) this morning:
Stephen Curry personally wears a high-top version of the Anatomix Spawns so we’ll wait and see if he straps on his own version of the pair for tomorrow’s game against the Pistons.
We don’t know for sure if proceeds from the shoe will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project or if it’s just to help raise awareness (the WWP logo is on the tongue of the shoe), but we can tell you that Under Armor has a history of working with the Wounded Warrior Project. In addition to releasing a Wounded Warrior Project colorway of the Spine Bionic shoe last year, UA’s created all sorts of uniforms for select Division I football teams honoring the WWP.
And no, we don’t have a link to show you where to buy it. Chances are you’ll have to find them from a boutique or Eastbay.
