Last night both Sonos and The Hype Machine put together an awesome party with COED favorites Rudimental and Redlight to highlight a new partnership between the two companies. Users of the new SONOS PLAY: 1 are now able to connect to the Hype Machine, allowing them to access their favorite music blogs easily.

Along with a great open bar at Baby’s All Right, Sonos had their amazing new smart speakers on display. For those of you who aren’t already familiar with Sonos (probably most well-known for their PlayBar), Sonos is a HiFi wireless speaker company which, in addition to giving you great sound, grants you access to thousands of radio stations via the internet. The Hype Machine is their most recent addition to their network of content producers.

All of Sonos’ speakers are “smart”–they talk to themselves automatically without any action from their user. Just plug them into an outlet and you’re good to go. We were very impressed to hear what kind of sound even one of these guys can produce.

But what’s the point of a great sound system without great music? Enter Rudimental. Even though only Piers and Kesi from the group showed up, they still rocked the party with favorites like “Waiting All Night,” “Not Giving In,” and the greatest remix of Cops theme song “Bad Boys” I’ve ever heard.

Unfortunately they had to leave to perform at the nearby Music Hall of Williamsburg but Redlight was right there to keep the party going.

Thanks to Sonos, Hype Machine, Baby’s All Right, and everyone else who helped make this morning a little foggy.┬áCheck out some select photos from the event below.
