Whether you know her as Ariane Andrew or simply Cameron, there’s no denying that today’s birthday gal has made a name for herself on the pro wrestling scene. She broke out big when the California girl won a pretty modest contest to become a WWE Diva. That landed her on the WWE Tough Enough reality show in 2011–where she was quickly eliminated from the weekly training rituals to join the WWE. (You can join in our past tributes to wrestling ladies like Christy Hemme, Karen Jarrett , Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes.)
Fortunately, reality beat out reality television. The WWE executives knew they had something special, and quickly signed her to a development contract. Ariane Andrew became Cameron Lynn. She started out with some ringside commentary, but quickly moved into the ring. Just like on television, Cameron was the first eliminated in a Divas Battle Royal event in July of 2011. It wasn’t long after that when Cameron began to appear regularly with the singularly-named Naomi.
The two moved into primetime together at the start of 2012. Cameron Lynn and Naomi became The Funkadactyls. The pair shook their pairs as valets while also spending lots of time in the ring. Cameron and Naomi really got the attention of fans during a fierce rivalry with the Bella Twins. Cameron (or Ariane Andrew, or whatever) has prospered since then–and is really impressing the WWE with her professional moves in the ring.
Nobody expected that from the rising starlet. Frankly, her Bachelor degrees in Marketing and Psychology probably make her fit to be an executive with the WWE. Maybe that’s in her future, but let’s celebrate Cameron’s 27th birthday with these fine photos of her own fit physique. Naomi’s in some of the pics, too…
