Study Says Diet Soda May Not Be That ‘Diet’ After All

Does science have to ruin everything we thought was good?

A study done by Purdue University says those who drink diet soft drinks compared to their sugary counterparts have experienced an increase in obesity, heart disease and diabetes – among other things you probably don’t want to deal with. Aspartame, a main ingredient in diet drinks, has also been linked to a variety of cancers.

So for all you binge drinkers out there who are worried about their health (oxy-moron, I know), try a Vodka and water instead of the go to Vodka and diet. May just save your life.
