Katherine Webb is the latest addition to the stable of spokesmodel smokeshows for Carl’s Jr/Hardee’s and it couldn’t be better timing for the former Miss Alabama. While she was always going to be a bigger star than Alabama QB AJ McCarron (the kid is a joke), rumor has it that the two have split up. From what we can tell from this behind-the-scenes footage, this commercial is definitely going to be a coming out party.
The burger that Katherine’s helping to sell is called the “Buffalo Blue Cheese Thickburger” and looks absolutely phenomenal. It’s got Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce, blue cheese crumbles, Swiss cheese, mayo, red onion, tomato, lettuce, and a charbroiled beef patty on a toasted sesame seed bun. At the time this post was published, Katherine Webb is not included in the sandwich.
The creative types who came up with the idea for the commercial did a great job of coming up with a sketch for it. Instead of just featuring her in a sexy dress eating the burger a la Kate Upton, this scene plays off of the “discovery” of Katherine Webb when both the camera and Brent Musberger incessantly kept focusing on her.
When this commercial finally debuts, Katherine will have joined the likes of Kate Upton, Nina Agdal, Sara Jean Underwood, Emily Ratajkowski, Kim Kardashian, Padma Lishki, and Paris Hilton. She will be the third spokesmodel who’s also been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
