If Week 3 didn’t go so well for your fantasy football team, chances are you didn’t listen to Allison and our friends at FantasySmokeShow like we had suggested.

That’s alright though because we’re here in Week 4 alongside Emina to break down what happened and what you can do to improve.

In addition to recapping each game, we’re showing you the biggest booms, busts and waiver pickups you need to know.

BOOM of the Week

RB Bilal Powell

WR Antonio Brown

TE Jimmy Graham/Jordan Cameron

BUST of the Week

QB Eli Manning

RB CJ Spiller

WR Victor Cruz

TE Tony Gonzalez

WAIVER PICKUPS

Kansas City D

WR Stephen Hill

WR Alshon Jeffrey

RB LeGarrette Blount

Kansas City vs. Philadelphia

So much for the Eagles O being unstoppable. Vick was back to his turnover ways, committing three of them. He still was able to salvage his game with 99 yards rushing and is still a must start. The superstar on this team is Shady McCoy. Although he isn’t getting the catches that we are used to seeing, he is dominating in the run game with over 150 yards and a TD this game.

The Chiefs D is for real. They are probably still on waivers, so pick em up this week. Jamaal Charles is loving the Andy Reid influence, with 92 yards rushing and 80 receiving. The biggest surprise has been the slow start Dwayne Bowe has had. The bigtime WR was passed by in this game by Donnie Avery‘s 7 catches and 141 yards.

Detroit vs. Washington

RG3 had the passing yards going over 300 again but was unable to manage a TD. WR Garcon continues to be the top target and can be counted on every week for good stats. Alfred Morris at least got a TD, even though he didn’t have a catch and only had 73 yards.

With Reggie Bush out, Joique Bell stepped up with a great game topping 130 total yards. QB Stafford almost had 400 yards, spreading the ball around to 8 different receivers. Of course, Megatron was the top dog with 115 yards and a TD. Nate Burleson is having a great start to the season and may be worth starting each week if you are thin at WR.

San Diego vs. Tennessee

Antonio Gates had his second good week in a row with 55 yards and a TD and may finally be over his foot injuries. Danny Woodhead is becoming a big PPR target in this offense out of the backfield(7 catches 55 yards) and has to be picked up if he still on your waiver wire. RB Ryan Mathews continues to disappoint with only 58 yards, but at least he didn’t fumble.

Still waiting for Chris Johnson to have a break out game and you might have to wait a little longer with a tough schedule coming up. Don’t get too frustrated with him and trade him for nothing. The Titans WRs had a good game. With Kenny Britt talking his way into the doghouse, Nate Washington and Kendall Wright may be sneaky plays the rest of the year.

New Orleans vs. Arizona

Whens the last time the Saints D only gave up 7 points??? Carson Palmer was set up for a big game but instead laid an egg. This was a shitty game for all the Cardinals. Even an injured Larry Fitzgerald only had 64 yards. If you can trade for Fitz after two downs weeks, DO IT.

Jimmy Graham just keeps kicking ass. Another week and another 2 TD game, to go along with 9 catches and 134 yards. Brees had a big game and Colston managed decent numbers. Darren Sproles’s season has started off slowly but don’t get too worried yet. Stick with everybody on this team unless it’s a RB.

New England vs. Tampa Bay

The Bucs keep falling and falling. Josh Freeman is going to get benched at this rate and is killing Vincent Jackson‘s fantasy potential. Stick with Jackson, because he will dominate as soon as you sit him on your bench. Doug Martin had a so-so game, but you expect more from a Top 5 pick.

Tom Brady, with 225 yards and 2 TDs, is just itching to get his injured WRs back. Once he has the weapons back, he is gonna go on a tear. The rookies stepped up this game, as Thompkins had 2 TDs and Dobson had 7 and 52. The running game continues to be a fucking mystery. Blount was the lead rusher, and Ridley had another disaster of a game.

Minnesota vs. Cleveland

The Vikings D couldn’t stop the Browns and that’s the main takeaway from this game. AP‘s TD and 6 catches made up for his 88 yards on the ground. None of the WRs went over 50 yards and should have a comfortable spot on your bench or waiver wire.

What the Hell happened here? The Browns were supposed to lay down but instead came in and stole a W. TE Jordan Cameron is a must Start and with 3 more TDs is only behind Graham right now at the position. WR Josh Gordon returned from suspension with 10 catches and 146 yards. If he happens to be on the waivers still, do everything in your power to get him. QB Hoyer‘s 300 yard game may make it tough for Weeden to get back in the lineup.

Dallas vs. St.Louis

The Rams sucked in this game in every aspect. After his huge game last week, Rookie Tavon Austin only had 30 yards. Its hard to put too much faith in the Rams O and you should be hesitant about starting any of their guys.

DeMarco Murray broke the fuck out in this game with over 200 total yards and a TD.Hope you bought him low like we’ve been recommending for the last two weeks. Romo managed 3 TDs and over 200 yards with barely throwing the ball. Witten and Bryant had good not great games, but at least they didn’t get injured like Austin did late on in the game.

Houston vs. Baltimore

The Texans cant find their stride so far this year. The D was supposed to be one of the strongest and have so far been a huge letdown. Arian Foster continues to be in the running for Bust of the year. Andre Johnson and Hopkins neither went over 60 yards. This was a forgettable game for owners of Texans players. This should not be the norm moving forward.

The Ravens D dominated this game and could become fantasy relevant if they can perform like this week in and week out. Flacco had another subpar game to go along with his subpar McDonalds commercials. WR Torrey Smith is getting plenty of targets and is the only pass catcher on this team. Ray Rice should be back next week, so maybe the offense can finally start figuring things out. Trade for Rice now while his value is at an All-time low.

Carolina vs. NY Giants

This may have been the worst of the worst for the GMen. Nobody did a thing in this game. The whole team should be the Bust of the Week. Eli threw for 119 yards, Wilson ran for 39 and Cruz had 29. Worst fantasy output from an entire team EVER. Enough Said.

On the other hand, Cam Newton really did look like Superman in this game. With 4 TDs and almost 300 yards of offense, we got a glimpse of his rookie glory days. Don’t expect anything close to this every week from Cam. DeAngelo Williams rushed for 120 and is having a decent start to the season. The only bummer for the Panthers was that Steve Smith was held to 40 yards.

Cincinnati vs. Green Bay

It was a sloppy game for the pack and a reminder that Aaron Rodgers is human. His 244 yards and TD weren’t terrible numbers, but just not his usual. WR Nelson has been on fire to start the season and kept going with a 8 catch 93 yard game. Still high on all Packers receivers and be sure to keep em in your lineup.

Even though the Bengals scored over 30 points in this game, no one on the team had an outstanding game. Dalton was useful with 2 TDs and 235, while AJ Green had a TD to go with subpar numbers. Rookie Gio Bernard was the main standout form this game with a TD and almost 100 yards in offense. Get Him On Your Team.

Chicago vs. Pittsburgh

What a crazy ass game for Roesthliberger. He accounted for 4TDs, unfortunately two of them were for the other team, and threw for over 400 yards. WR Antonio Brown was main target hauling in 9 catches for 196 yards and 2 TDs. This kind of output will not be the norm, even though the Steelers may be trying to play catch up all year long.

The Bears Defense was so fucking good that the O didn’t have to do too much. Forte had his usual TD and 100 yards in total offense. Never would have imagined the Bears scoring 40 and Marshall not having a great game but it happened only 52 yards. WR Alshon Jeffrey is really becoming a reliable #2 in the passing game. Pick him up off waivers if you can.

Seattle vs. Jacksonville

This game had blowout written all over it and it didn’t disappoint. MJD only rushed for 43 yards but at least had a TD. WR Cecil Shorts was the big winner on the Jags this week with 8 catches and 143 yards. He is a must start while Blackmon is still suspended and until Gabbert returns form injury.

Russell Wilson decided to be the Beast this week with 4 TDs. WR Sidney Rice returned to fantasy relevance with 79 yards and 2 TDs. Keep an eye on Rice and pick him up if you have a wasted spot on your bench. Its amazing that Lynch didn’t even top 70 yards on the ground, but then again he didn’t have to do a lot since the game was over pretty quickly.

San Francisco vs. Indianapolis

The Niners got drubbed for the second week in a row, although this week was a little more worrisome since it was by the Colts. Kaepernick had another shit game with 2 turnovers and only 150 yards passing. His owners have to be concerned that defenses may have figured him out. Frank Gore had a good game with over 100 yards in total offense. The “elite” San Fran defense has given plenty of points the last few weeks and will be without one of their stars Aldon Smith for the foreseeable future.

The Colts new weapon Trent Richardson scored a TD on his first carry but was overshadowed by Ahmad Bradshaw‘s 95 yard/TD game. This could end up being a dreaded running back by committee situation. Luck only threw for 164 yards but don’t think this is now a run first team. Luck‘s numbers will be a lot better than this the rest of the season.

Buffalo vs. NY Jets

The Bust call is getting louder and louder with CJ Spiller now. Even before he got injured, he was having a crap game with 9 yards on 10 carries. Fred Jackson has been the RB to play in this offense and continues to be, even though we wouldn’t jump off the Spiller bandwagon for good. WR Stevie Johnson ended up with a good statline with 6/86.

The Jets had huge fantasy days at almost every position. Geno tore it up with over 300 yards and 3 TDs, although he isn’t trustworthy enough yet to be a full time starter on your team. Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill were his main targets, each with a TD and over 100 yards. Pick up Holmes and Hill if still available in your league. After RB Ivory left the game injured, Bilal Powell went off with almost 150 yards.

Denver vs. Oakland

So much for the return of McFadden. 12 carries and 9 yards later, the running back only prevented his owners from tears by scoring a meaningless TD. WR Denarius Moore had a great game and needs to be looked at if he his on your waivers. Otherwise stay away from the Raiders.

Peyton decided to test perfection. His statline included 374 yards and 3 TDs as he put the game away early. The Big Four WRs all did their thing with big games. TE Thomas scored for the third straight game and is must Start. The Broncos rushing attack picked another week to confuse owners. This week Ronnie Hillman was the standout with 66 yards and a TD. We would not trust the RBs.
