Meet the Flesh-Eating Monsters of My Jerusalem’s ‘Born in the Belly’ Video
If you’re not familiar with Austin-based band My Jerusalem, you have to start rocking out to them this summer. Their second full-length album Preachers was recorded by Spoon’s Jim Eno, so you can expect a really big sound.
Described as “Post-Modern Southern Gothic Soul” by frontman Jeff Klein, the album is a little bit moody piano and a lot ferocious guitar. So what can you expect from their latest video? “Hold on to your heart as tight as you can, no matter how heavy it can get,” Klein told MTV. “And don’t let them eat you alive.” Check out the amazing video above for single Born in the Belly, and learn how to protect your heavy heart from flesh-eating monsters.
