ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue is out on newstands this week, and once again it’s the summer’s hot topic.
As we told y’all before, readers can expect to see a celebration of the human athlete with names like Courtney Force (NHRA funny car driver) , Kerri Walsh-Jennings (beach volleyball), Swin Cash (WNBA), Sydney Leroux (US Women’s Soccer), Tarah Gieger (Women’s Motocross), Marlen Esparanza (boxer), Carly Booth (WPGA), Miesha Tate (MMA) and Elena Hight (Snowboarding) take off their uniforms and pose for the camera. Guess that means it’s time for an update to our list of athletes you can see naked (remember, on the internet there’s a list for everything).
Of course there are also a lot of guys shedding their clothes for the magazine’s annual special edition, but the thought of seeing ripped men like Vernon Davis and Matt Harvey is just too depressing for us.
This year, cover model honors have been given to eight people, including Courtney Force, Sydney Leroux, Kerri Walsh-Jennings, and Tarah Geiger. Unfortunately, Ronda Rousey’s (our favorite from last year) is not back for a sophomore shoot. Even more unfortunate is she’s been replaced by 77-year-old golf HOF’er Gary Player.

And on a side note, it’s just coincidence that ESPN W chose this week to publish a feature on women’s boobs in sports, right?
