Man Tries Skydiving With An Umbrella Like Mary Poppins, Proves It Doesn’t Work [VIDEO]

I don’t think many people have ever mistaken Mary Poppins as a true story, but that didn’t stop one inquisitive skydiver from seeing if you could actually float to the Earth with an umbrella.

Surprisingly, the umbrella did slow his fall for a bit… until the canvas gave out leaving him holding a handful of worthless metal rods.

Thankfully, he had the foresight to have a backup parachute on him and landed back on the ground without incident.

Mary Poppins refused to comment.
