Hand-Drawn TV Show Apartment & House Floor Plans [PICS]

TV show sets are an interesting phenomenon. We know they are fake, traditionally consisting of a mere 3 walls so cameras can film the action in front of a live studio audience, or in the case of a show like The Simpsons, an entirely animated imaginary world, but we relate to them anyway.

We like to think of them as real. Or at least that they could be real.

In fact, sets are an integral part of any television show. People often identify with specific locations just as much as the actual characters. Can you imagine seeing Seinfeld in any other apartment than the one he spent nine seasons in?

So it’s not uncanny that a Spanish artist and interior designer decided to lovingly draw out the floor plans from popular TV shows (and movies) with enough detail to make you believe these locations actual exist.

The designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde worked an incredible amount of detail into these works. We picked some of our favorites below, but there are plenty more to view over at deviantART (including a few of the aforementioned movie versions).
