friend-zone

A lot of lonely guys out there are unwilling to admit they’ve been put in the “friend zone.”

Well, now, if you’re not sure of your situation, you can look up the definition in the dictionary.

Added new this month, OxfordDictionaries.com defines “friend zone” as:

“a situation in which a platonic relationship exists between two people, one of whom has an undeclared romantic or sexual interest in the other: I always wind up in the friend zone, watching them pursue other guys

It’s pretty straightforward, guys. There really shouldn’t be a lot of confusion.

But if you’re still confused, I actually prefer this UrbanDictionary.com definition which I think is much clearer:

“A term often used in bitterness by men when women make the choice to not f**k someone. Often used by douchebags or people with Nice Guy Syndrome.”

See.  That’s super clear. Try all they want, Oxford Dictionaries don’t know “dic.”
