Who’s Gets The Better Deal On Valentine’s Day? [HE SAID / SHE SAID]

This has to be the easiest He Said/She Said ever — it’s almost insulting. Obviously men have it harder on Valentine’s Day. But because I work hard for my earnings, I will enumerate for you all why this is the case.

• Men are expected to buy things (flowers, chocolate, dinner)

• Men are expected to pay for dinner

• Men have to pretend we’re more romantic than we really are

That’s it. Those are literally the only three things we as men have to do for our girlfriends on Valentine’s Day. But you know what girls have to do? Absolutely nothing. Maybe smile at our dumb cards or put on that lingerie you should have bought her. But that’s it. 3 to 1 sounds like no-brainer to me.
