Musicians take themselves way too seriously, and they do it more when the stakes are higher.

The Grammy Awards are pretty much the highest stakes there are for a recording artist who does what radio station and corporate studios tell them to. So it’s always fun to laugh at them, just like it’s fun to laugh at anyone who takes himself too seriously, when they do something stupid. Or even if they just make a stupid face.
