Joel McHale Makes Bizarre Cameo On Last Night’s Tosh.0 [VIDEO]

Did anyone else catch this last night? Joel McHale of The Soup (and, of course, Community) made a strange guest appearance on the season premiere of Tosh.0.

The cameos came completely unannounced and, oddly, unexplained, as McHale was simply edited into the show during the opening segment just long enough to deliver a joke and then — poof — he was gone, with Daniel Tosh picking up where Joel left off.

Obviously, the gag is that many consider Tosh.0 to be a ripoff of the green screen format The Soup popularized. But it’s definitely odd to see him just pop-in like that unexpected.

Maybe it’s all the money NBC was willing to invest to promote the return of Community — returning tomorrow, February 7th! (Where’s my check, NBC?)

Just be careful. It is Tosh.0 and the second clip is a bit gruesome. (Would you expect anything less?)
