The Top 5 Mac Miller Tracks
Today, Complex announced that rapper Mac Miller will be the digital cover story for their “Man Of Next Year” Week. At just 21 years old, this is quite the accomplishment for the Rostrum Records emcee. Following the success of his debut album Blue Slide Park (which was the first independent debut to hit #1 on the Billboard charts in 16 years) and multiple mixtapes that have been met with critical acclaim, it’s no wonder that everyone is waiting to to see what Mr. Miller has in store for 2013.
So what does he have in store for 2013? Well, for starters, he’s signed on to produce a 6 part reality series for MTV 2 entitled Look Into My Life which will follow him and members of his Most Dope crew as they get settled and adjust to life in Los Angeles. Additionally, Mac’s sophomore release Watching Movies With The Sound Off is set for release early this year. But before that he’ll be dropping a collaborative EP with Pharrell entitled Pink Slime according to Prefix.
But before we look forward, I decided we should take a look back. Here are my picks for Mac’s top 5 tracks, in no particular order…
1. “Loud” (Macadelic)
2. “Nikes On My Feet” (K.I.D.S.)
3. “Smile Back” (Blue Slide Park)
4. “Donald Trump” (Best Day Ever)
5. “Good Evening” (K.I.D.S.)
