The 10 Worst Movies Released In January

These tired eyes of mine have seen a lot of bad movies but the majority of the horror usually occurs in the month of January (and not the good kind of horror thanks to turds like White Noise).

Example: how many of you rushed out to see Movie 43 this past weekend? My guess is many of you weren’t propelled by the whopping 16 out of 100 score it racked up on Metacritic. And I rest my case.

The truth is that January is the dump date on Hollywood’s film release calendar for their least promising fare since it’s just after the deadline to release films for Oscar consideration and just before the big summer release season. January is the superfund site where the major studios throw their most toxic waste where they fear it will cause the least number of hideous mutations after it seeps into the local water supply.

These are the worst of the worst of the first month of the year that I’ve seen in my lifetime…
