Don’t ask me for many details — most of what I know is what I’m seeing in this video — but it appears that comedian Jerry Seinfeld has agreed to do an official collaboration with rapper Wale.

If you’re a big fan of Jerry Seinfeld, that sentence might not make any sense, but if you’re a Wale fan, it makes all the sense in the world. Wale dipped into the TV show Seinfeld‘s mythology and audio samples to create two fantastic mixtapes, Mixtape About Nothing and More About NothingĀ back in 2008 and 2010.

At some point, it seems Seinfeld caught wind and wanted in. Either that or Wale finally got big enough to pull some strings.

Paste Magazine says that an album will be coming out this year: Album About Nothing. Again, I don’t know much, but I know it will be something: hopefully something good, but at the very least, something interesting.

If you’re completely lost on everything I’m talking about, check out this track — “The Soup” — form the More About Nothing mixtape. It’s as good a place to start as any.
