On this day in 1998, 19 European nations got together and signed a treaty banning human cloning.

We understand that there’s “moral” and “ethical” reasons to prevent cloning. And yeah, the potential for criminality is great: imagine making your clone rob liquor stores for you while you set up the perfect alibi. You could do magic tricks that are out of control. Or you could send an army of clones into battle.

So yeah, there’s some good reasons not to. But then there’s the whole potential for multitudes of hot female clones thing. Damn, Europe, were you not thinking about that all? Let us help you. Here’s 19 women, one from each signatory to the clone-ban treaty, that we’d especially like to see cloned.
