Politics can be really ugly, but why do so many politicians have to be ugly too?

It doesn’t help that no one wants to look straight at them while they’re making BS promises, which they do a lot of…on television…without makeup. Their ugliness isn’t necessarily because they’re old or fat. Often, it’s a healthy combination, like you see in the sagging jowls of Newt Gingrich and Mitch McConnell.

Before they screw up the fiscal cliff negotiations and raise all of our taxes, we’d like to celebrate the ugliest of them this year.
