On this day back in 1991, the Soviet Union was officially dissolved into 15 smaller countries (including Russia). If any other nation had been divided in the same way, there’s a good chance that they would have lost all international power and respect. But not Mother Russia, she’ll keep battling to stay on top for as long as possible.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that some of the most beautiful women and models in the entertainment industry come Russia.       Do you have any idea of how irritating it is to see Cyrillic letters substituted for Roman ones? You're probably thinking it's clever but it comes across as ignorant. For example: you've spelled poor Irina Chesotaeva's name as " IYAIEA SNZBOTAZBA ". One language or the other, please…don't try and meld the two.

        Actually those aren't even Cyrillic letters. That is simply an effort on their part to write their names in a style that "looks Russian". In actual Cyrillic, Maria Sharapova (for example) would appear as Мария Шарапова. So yeah, lame attempt to be clever.

      There are more beautiful girls in the streets of Russian cities than this "models".
      Also Olga Kurylenko is an Ukrainian model, not Russian.
