If you’re an NFL fan, there’s nothing more anxiety-inducing than this time of year when your team is barely still in playoff contention.

Maybe you go to the game, so add the stress of taking a fat chunk out of a week’s paycheck to pay for the ticket. However, if you’re not a huge football fan, or your team has their playoff spot secured or have been out of contention since October, watching that anxious NFL fan get sad is more rewarding than working at a soup kitchen on Christmas.

The Germans call it “schadenfreude,” or “laughing at other people’s pain.” We wholeheartedly agree. Here’s some pictures of fans of teams that have been eliminated this week, or are definitely about to be.
