Carla Gugino back on New Girl

We’re certainly no newcomers to Carla Gugino. We’ve listed her among the 32 Hottest Cougars in Hollywood, the Sexy Ladies of Sucker Punch, and–most recently–as part of the 60 Best Natural Breasts of 2012. None of that could make Carla a movie star, but we’re always thrilled to be saluting her as a sexy gal showing up on our small screens.

Tonight’s episode is about the third time that Carla has shown up in an episode of New Girl. The striking brunette is a showbiz veteran herself, and she’s left behind a trail of memorably sexy role. Highlights include a turn as a sexy con woman in 1998’s Judas Kiss, a hard-boiled lesbian in Sin City, and a sultry superheroine in 2009’s Watchmen. We won’t dwell on her turn as Pauly Shore’s love interest in 1993’s Son In Law, but Carla deserved a longer run when she tried starring in her own series Karen Sisco (playing the same tough gal portrayed by Jennifer Lopez in the 1998 cult item Out of Sight).

Carla got another shot at stardom in 2011’s ill-fated (and previously mentioned) Sucker Punch–and she was already a MILF in a cast of hot young babes. Then it was back to television for this year’s Political Animals miniseries. Yet, strangely, we’re still not bored with her in our living rooms–and these pics will give you an idea of why Carla remains so captivating… [image via fanpop]
