The 25 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2013

The video game industry is hurting. And even in a time when Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 can make over $500 million in 24 hours, according to some sources, 2012 may have been the worst year for video game sales in seven years. That’s the bad news. The good news is that a new year is almost here, and with it, a whole new lineup of releases that are beginning to make 2013 look brighter than your screen after accidentally throwing a flashbang against a wall.

For example, every Tuesday in February 2013 has a major game release. We just saw the first release of a new gaming console (the Wii U) in six years. Some of our favorite franchises are being renewed or rehashed while other developers have chosen to set their sights on brand-new projects.

See? The only thing you have be worried about is whether or not you’re going to have enough time or money to play them all.
