Mackenzie Shivers on Law & Order: SVU

(9 pm EST, NBC)

It’s a rite of passage for any New York City actress to end up on Law & Order: SVU–and it’s about time that the series brought in Mackenzie Shivers. Actually, this intense redhead has already done her time on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She actually worked on that series as a stand-in and an actress. That was back in 2009, so SVU is definitely overdue.

In fact, we’re more excited about tonight’s role than when Mackenzie showed up on the Onion News Network as “Wet Sweater Coed.” Mackenzie isn’t just another hot bod, though. She’s a serious stage actress who’s also put her stunning presence to work as a model. Mackenzie already has a fan base in Manhattan from her work as an actess and a musician. It’s actually kind of weird that she hasn’t taken off more on the international runways, but Mackenzie just might not have much interest in that kind of thing. She does, however, have a sister. At least, we’re pretty sure that Sarah Wells Shivers is Mackenzie’s sister. Judge for yourself, as we back up Mackenzie’s alluring gallery with some video of the two Shivers performing the Christmas hymn “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” Because, you know, Christmas is just around the corner.
