If you’re going to do a shitty job remaking a movie trailer shot-for-shot, you might as well do the shittiest job possible. That’s what Iron Man would do! (I assume. I don’t really know what Iron Man’s guiding principles are. He doesn’t really have a simple “With great power, comes great responsibility” thing, does he? But I assume Iron Man would be down for really bad remakes. I could see him and Gus Van Sant getting along.)
