Brad Pitt Is Our Zombie Jesus in the ‘World War Z’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Despite including World War Z on our 30 Most Anticipated Movies list, the film is set up to be a failure. It’s had rumors of cast arguments on set, director changes while filming, extensive reshoots, and budget problems. However, the first trailer has hit the interwebs, and it doesn’t look like half the mess fans were expecting.

Based off the acclaimed novel by Max Brooks and directed by Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster; it seems like Brad Pitt plays some sort of zombie messiah that has to save the world from flesh-eating creatures. It looks like an I Am Legend/Zombieland mash-up, which could either be mind-blowingly awesome or super lame.

World War Z opens on June 21, 2013.
