Surprisingly The New Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie Doesn’t Look Half Bad [VIDEO]

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a polarizing figure. You either love him or hate him. (Especially after that run as Governor of California while banging all of his cleaning ladies.) But he’s back in his first starring role since 2003 with The Last Stand.

The set-up is simple enough: Arnie’s a small-town sheriff of a Mexican border town getting ready to fight off some crazy Mexican cartel drug lord. The story-line’s generic as f*ck, but some of the action shots in this trailer look pretty cool. I mean, Luis Guzman holding a broadsword?! Arnie’s got a school bus Gatling gun?!? The fastest car in the world?!? “Boom, Boom” as the trailer’s song?!? It’s got a ridiculous amount of overkill, but that’s why we love action movies, right?

The Last Stand hits theaters on January 18, 2013.
