This Is Sad: People Googling ‘Who Is Running For President’ Saw A Huge Spike This Week

How large does the rock you’re living under have to be for you to turn to Googling “who is running for president?” And yet, that’s what people did according to this Google Trends report showing a giant spike in people Googling that phrase in the days leading up to the election.

But as much as I find it infuriating, part of me says, “Well, at least they’re trying.” Better an underinformed public than an uninformed public.

And hey, at least they know how to use Google.  That’s a plus, right?
