Since we are halfway through the 2012 NFL season, I think we should all just take a breath and remember week nine for a variety of colorful moments that most won’t soon forget. Some of them include Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush breaking the ankles of the Colts defense, Steve Smith shaking his moneymaker, and a Redskins tight end plunking an official in the face.

But, of course, let’s start with the best celebration GIFs. Because let’s face it, “It’s A Celebration, B*tches” is really what gets you to work every Monday.

It’s A Celebration, B*tches

Quick, someone tell me how many TD’s Steve Smith has this season.

That’s trash, not flags.

The Presidents are really trying to win Ohio.

Owen Daniels choppin it up like the Defense

Is “Ladyhawk” the weirdest NFL fan?

It’s pretty much a guarantee each week that Von Miller is going to be here.

Chuck Pagano’s Post-Game Speech

Chuck Pagano finally managed to make it to a game this week. Here’s a hell of a reality check in the form of a post-game speech.

Watch Your Mouth, Tony Corrente!

Consider how faulty referees microphone can be, I’m surprised that moments like this don’t happen more often.

During the Miami Dolphins/Indianapolis Colts game, play had been stopped to check the spot of the ball and head referee Tony Corrente was approached by one of his crew members to ask if he knew the situation. Tony did know but since his microphone was on, he dropped a “Goddamn It” for the world to hear.

Reggie Bush, Breakin’ Ankles

When he was a member of the New Orleans Saints, running back Reggie Bush was known for his breakaway speed and shifty running style. In the second quarter of the Colts/Dolphins, Reggie channeled his old self on this 17-yard touchdown run where Reggie cutback against the grain and sped past the defense.

Hey Ref, Watch Out For That…

As an NFL official, it’s always a good idea to pay attention to where the ball is.

However, I’m going to give this official a break since the play had ended and he probably wasn’t expecting this throw from Washington Redskins tight-end Logan Paulson.

Trindon Holliday Goes 105

Before the Broncos/Bengals game yesterday, the longest kick return in Denver history was 100 yards and belonged to two men: Nemiah Wilson and Goldie Sellers.

That record fell when Broncos return man Trindon Holliday took the second half opening kickoff from his own end zone and went 105 yards for a touchdown:

Golden Tate Flips For A Touchdown

For the West Coasters, the Seattle Seahawks were at home against the Minnesota Vikings and wide receiver Golden Tate had a pretty solid game.

Check out his second touchdown of the affair as he flips over Minnesota Vikings cornerback John Robinson for the score.

Darrius Hey-Bey Bey!

Many Oakland Raiders fans rued the day when the team drafter Maryland wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey but he’s turned out to be a pretty solid wide receiver.

Check out this impressive effort in the Oakland/Tampa Bay game as he comes down with a one-handed reception.

MNF: Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

A couple of seasons ago, this would have been a premier Monday Night Football match-up but both the Saints and Eagles have a combined record of 5-9 this season.

The biggest bugaboo for the Eagles this season has been turnovers and there is some doubt if starting quarterback Michael Vick will finish the season under center. The lone bright spot for the Eagles has been running back LeSean McCoy who has rushed for over 504 yards with five total touchdowns. Philadelphia’s defense will have to stop Drew Brees and the potent Saints passing attack if they want to keep this game in reach.

For the Saints, the bounty scandal has dampened their season but considering the weakness of the NFC playoff picture, they are still alive for a playoff berth. If Drew Brees can keep up his torrid pace passing the football, he will keep the Saints in enough games. The New Orleans defense has been much-maligned and will have to keep track of Michael Vick’s ability to use his arm and legs to make plays out of nothing.

Overall, it’s tough for me to vote against the Saints at the Superdome and expect Brees to throw for over 400 yards.

COED Prediction: Saints 30 Eagles 16
