Melinda Y. Cohen beams up to Castle

Tonight’s episode of Castle has our favorite detective/novelist looking into a murder at a sci-fi convention–which presumably will provide lots of in-jokes for star Nathan Fillion, who’s done his own time at sci-fi conventions as the star of the cultish space opera Firefly. There’s also some prime geekiness with the casting of Melinda Y. Cohen in a guest role.

This gal is a veteran of starring in video games (like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) and has done some fine cultish work herself in films like Chillerama. Melinda is also casting herself in short films that she’s been writing and producing.
