Mumford & Sons Explained [PIC]

Rumor has it that Led Zeppelin got their name when members of The Who said that the idea of Page’s new supergroup would go over like a “lead balloon.”

Similarly, maybe someone heard the idea of an Americana band from London and said,”That sounds sh*ttier than a Rhode Island porta potty!”

Boom: Mumford & Sons.

At least that’s the origin story rumor I’d like to start.

Americana is the last word I would use to describe Mumford and Sons. Their music is celtic all the way.
