The red carpet, at Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars, was actually blue. My guess: They were trying to be ironically funny. Wrong on all accounts; blue is the color that represents autism.

Hosted by Jon Stewart, the annual charity event raises millions for autism education and family service programs. Taped this past Saturday night at the Beacon Theater in New York City, this year’s theme is “America Comes Together,” featuring pairings of celebrity rivals or polar opposites coming together. Such comedian heavyweights as Stephan Colbert (who was paired with a bear), Ben Stiller, Louie C.K., and Seth Rogen were on hand to deliver the funny – for a good cause.

The show will premieres on Comedy Central: Sunday, October 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. As a preview, here are some highlights from the red (blue actually) carpet gala at Night of Too Many Stars.
