Nicki Minaj Freaks Out At Mariah Carey During ‘American Idol’ Taping [VIDEO]

Remember when people used to think Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul didn’t get along? Holy sh*t is this nothing compared to this.

TMZ released their exclusive footage yesterday showing Minaj going on a profanity-laced tirade against Carey, who I think it’s worth pointing out we should all keep in mind is easily Nicki’s pop-star senior (by a long shot, whether Nicki wants to admit it or not.)

The audio on the video is hard to hear. Head over to TMZ to read their partial transcription. Regardless of what was being said, it supposedly was so bad auditions were cancelled for the rest of the day.

With Idol’s revolving door of judges, I guess it was only a matter of time before a pair seriously didn’t get along, especially when you have clashing egos who, as Nicki points out in her verbal assault above, think they are “not sitting here for 20 million [to have] her look down here, reprimanding everyday.”

But the real question becomes, could this be enough to finally bring down Idol?
