Remember when Howie Mandel had hair and he’d put rubber gloves on his head? That’s my favorite era of Howie Mandel-dom. It’s such a simple comedy formula: Rubber glove on head = funny. Mr. Mandel has long since packed up the rubber gloves, but he is a guest on a late night show tonight.

**Paul Scheer on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC |12:05 AM EST)**

Are you familiar with Human Giant? It’s a sketch comedy show that was on MTV, starring writer/performers Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer. Human Giant gained an audience following in the New York City comedy scene through live shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade and their weekly comedy show, Crash Test. Scheer has gone on to become a cast member on, The League. See him tonight on Kimmel.

**Chris Hardwick on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS|12:35 AM EST)**

I just saw Chris Harwick on my United Airlines inflight TV. He was on an episode of Showtime’s The Green Room with Paul Provenza. Funny guy. I once met Mr. Mandel – and there was no hand shaking involved. “Don’t Touch Me.” That’s the name of actor-comedian’s autobiography. He doesn’t want anyone to touch him.
