Larry David and Comedian on the Late Shows [COMEDY TONIGHT]

By    August 21, 2012 8:36 am     Posted in funny   harmonleon g+ page

Larry David started his career as one hell of a funny stand up comedian. He’d perform at the New York clubs alongside Seinfeld – and that’s where the two first hit it off. There’s this legendary story about David: He was performing at an industry showcase. After a few jokes didn’t go well, he threw down the mic and screamed, ” Pearls before swine,” and then stormed off.  Catch Mr. David on the late show couch tonight,

Read on to find out who else is being served up in the late night “chuckle dungeon .” (NOTE: The term “chuckle dungeon” is a copyrighted phrase. Any unauthorized use will result in gout.)

Bill Hader on Late Show with David Letterman (CBS | 11:35 PM EST)

Did you know that Bill Hadar was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma? The comedian went on to become a cast member on Saturday Night Live and had memorable supporting roles in comedy films such as Superbad, Hot Rod, Tropic Thunder, Adventureland, Paul, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Hadar is like your goofy best friend from college. See tonight on Letterman.

Jim Norton on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (NBC | 12:35 AM EST)

I loved Jim Norton on the old Comedy Central show, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. “Acerbic” is one word I would use to describe his humor. The guy shoots from the belt -always with a crazed look in his eye. Norton is cut from the same New York mold as Louie C.K. and is a regular on-air personality on The Opie & Anthony Show. Check out what he has to rage about on Fallon tonight.

Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC |12:05 AM EST)

Our apologies. No comedy guests tonight.

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS|12:35 AM EST)

Come back tomorrow. No comedy guests tonight. Waaaa!

Larry David on Conan (TBS|10 PM EST)

Jerry Seinfeld was the face of the legendary sitcom, Seinfeld. But Larry David was the pure genius behind the show. On Curb the Enthusiasm, you can see traces of George, Jerry, and Kramer in Larry’s character. But did you know that Mr. David started as a stand up comedian in New York? (Back when he had hair.) Larry changed the face of television sitcoms. Wonder what he’s going to tell Conan tonight?

The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno (NBC|11:35/10:35)

It’s sleep time. No comedy guests tonight. Zzzzzzz.
