The United States Women Are The Soccer World’s Golden Girls [PHOTOS]

I can’t say that it’s exactly a shock that the United States won the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics, despite having lost to the same team just one year earlier. The biggest surprise was that the two goals scored by the United States came from Rutgers’ very own Carli Lloyd, not Alex Morgan or Abby Wambach. All in all, it was a great match to watch and we couldn’t be happier that these ladies came out on top. The Japanese also deserve a round of applause for legit scaring the crap out of us more than we deserved. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012 London Olympic Gold Medal winning team below.
