Katie Taylor is the darling of the Irish and it’s easy to see why. Touted as one of the best female boxers in the lightweight division, Katie has proved herself by winning the Olympic Gold–a solid showing after winning the World Championship last May. I’d be misleading you if I told you that Katie was as attractive as women like Kate Upton or Miranda Kerr, but I can promise you that there’s not a more attractive face in the world that’s been hit by so many punches.

One of the reasons that Katie is so well loved by her Irish fans is that, not only is she fighting for Ireland proper (not ‘Team GB’), she actually defeated British fighter Natasha Jonas. It’s fair to say that numerous pints will be raised in Ireland in salute to Katie Taylor. Sláinte!
