20 Reasons Why This Week Won’t Suck [July 16--22]

You know what we could’ve done with the column this week? Just made it nothing but things about The Dark Knight Rises. Books, soundtracks, action figures, all that stuff. But what about our heavy metal thunder? Or our innovative hip-hop and rap? There’s a concert film coming out on Friday, too, and a really great Martin Scorsese movie is on Blu-Ray. There are also some films that aren’t really great, but fun to watch. Don’t forget the great American songwriter with an album coming out, either. So it seems that there’s an embarrassment of riches to keep us alive for another week. Let us share our good fortune…
