Summer Staycation: Holiday Without Leaving Home

Summer means vacation time–which is a great thing if you have money, but not so great if you are broke as a joke. Vacationing means traveling to exotic lands, seeing stuff, meeting locals, and just plain “getting away from it all.” But the drawback is that vacationing can be expensive. And what if some of you suffer from agoraphobia (fear of open spaces) and are unable to leave your home. What then?!! Not to mention the fear of flying and, of course, all those billions and billions of germs. Then what??!!

This is why I suggest vacationing in your very own home. Yes, take a staycation and be a complete tourist in the very place you spend your everyday life. All you need to do is look at your community with a fresh new perspective. Click on to see what you can do–and let your dream staycation begin!

I think they call this "Stay-Cation". I admit, sometimes it is relaxing as you free yourself from the travel stress and expenses. Still, I miss the holiday all inclusive for exotic locales.
