Marilyn Monroe became a movie star after her supporting role in the 1950 crime drama The Asphalt Jungle. People have been talking about her ever since. They’ll be talking about her even more today, since this would’ve been her 86th birthday. Marilyn’s legend looms especially large with her passing away in 1962 at the age of 36. A lot of hardcore fans love to speculate about her troubled life and the future she should’ve had. There’s still a lot more to Marilyn than just the classic blonde with a breathy voice.
