You know why people still get excited about Marilyn Monroe‘s birthday tomorrow? Because there’s been fifty years of starlets trying to outdo the screen legend in everything from beauty to scandal. Marilyn continues to overshadow pop culture when it comes to hot babes, tabloid fodder, or weird romances. Most people don’t mind, though. She died young, but Marilyn left behind enough work to show that she was a real artist. Plenty of actresses have been eager to pay tribute to her.
